 MySQL is a free relational database management system. MySQL is developed and supported by Oracle. MySQL has become widespread on the Internet as a data storage system for sites, in other words, the vast majority of sites store their data in the MySQL database. Therefore, it is not surprising that MySQL occupies the leading line of our rating.


In the Stack Overflow ranking, MySQL takes the first place, i.e. programmers most of all ask questions related specifically to MySQL.


In all other ratings, MySQL confidently takes the second line, and this is one of the most stable results among all of our current participants. That is why MySQL takes the first place in the rating of the most popular DBMS.
